UPI receives many news tips and press releases each day. While we cannot guarantee that any item will be used, a few simple procedures will help ensure that your release or news tip gets to the right editors and increases your chance of getting coverage.
- Please keep release short
- Identify the organization or individual sending the release and include the contact name and phone number of the person who can respond to our inquiry
- Date the release and include whether the material is for immediate use or for release at a later date
